We are using low-cost 77 GHz mmWave FMCW radar sensors made by TI to monitor patient motion and breathing during radiotherapy. Compared with current optical surface tracking, mmWave is able to penetrate patient’s clothing and immobilization device, monitor patient’s motion continuously.
